Hello! Thank you so much for taking a minute to check out our film. We have put our hearts into bringing this project to life because we believe in what it’s capable of accomplishing…which are a few things:

First, we want to make a movie! And we believe this is a movie worth making. Small stories like this deserve to be on big screens. It’s the dream and it’s also on the cusp of becoming a reality.

Second, it’s a celebration of the transitional times in your life. The times where you weren’t quite sure what you were going to do next or what you wanted to do next. Those times are uncomfortable and sometimes unwelcome but so, so, so necessary. When I initially started working at The Neon it wasn’t because I wanted to. It was because I needed a job after college while I figured my life out. And now looking back, it was the best job I’ve ever had.

Third, it will serve as a celebration of the community. In my opinion, The Neon is the beating heart of downtown. A literal beacon of light on the corner of 5th, The Neon is not only a geographic landmark but a cultural landmark. A place where everyone is welcome, art is celebrated and discussed, and the local community thrives. Our film will put The Neon and Dayton on the big screen - the place it deserves to be.

Lol. We don’t ask lightly - we know what a financial commitment of any kind looks like in a world that’s continually getting more complicated.

Lastly, this entire project was born out of love for a time in my life that introduced me to a place and to a group of people that helped me get to where I am today. It would be my privilege to celebrate them with this film.
